How To Easily Export Folder Lists and File Structure to Excel


Directory List & Print for Windows allows to easily list and print folder contents. The list of files can directly be opened in Word and Excel or can be output as text file, PDF, HTML or XML table. Directory List & Print Pro can directly be embedded in the context menu of Windows Explorer for immediate display of the requested directory structure. Various filter options and output possibilities enable to create the individually requested file lists. Besides listing, printing and exporting the list of files, the data can be further processed as for example copy, move and delete files (click on screenshots below to enlarge).

Select requested directory in order to create your file lists.

1. Select Directory

Select the requested directory with the possible subdirectories.

2. Columns

In order to create the requested file list select the file information and meta tags needed. (EXIF, IPTC, AUDIO, VIDEO,DOCUMENT.

Define all columns for the requested file lists.
Define file properties for your file list.

3. Display

Based on the display properties define the data your file list shall be displayed with.  

4. Filter

The numerous filter options allow to create the file list according to your needs.

Create your requested file lists with filter options.
Output formats for file lists and folder contents.

5. Output

Directory List & Print Pro offers various output formats of your file and folder lists; such as Word, Excel (Microsoft Office), Writer, Calc (OpenOffice / LibreOffice) PDF, HTML and XML tables as well as CSV or TXT file.  

6. Action

Besides listing, printing and exporting of file lists, the files can directly be copied, moved or deleted under the tab “Action”.

Directory List & Print allows to directly copy, move and delete data.
